Well, it sometimes does happen…that one item of clothing in the man's wardrobe that's just an absolute no-go for the woman in the couple, but an old favorite for him! I've been hearing about a stand-off on just such a situation from a good friend that's been making me chuckle…of course, that's because it's not happening to me! Her guy had a favorite old coat that she tried to accept, but she just couldn't! Thank goodness by getting him to look at mens designer coats, she was able to get him to see other coats that he actually does like. He now also sees more clearly the state of the coat he was so used to wearing. So they've moved through the impasse! The good thing is that they were able to always discuss it respectfully, and finally were even able to joke about it. That kind of communication bodes well not only for his wardrobe but for the relationship!
