London Fashion Star

Henry Holland is a rising London fashion designer, who credits his love of Scottish culture for launching his career. His luxury label, House of Holland, is now worn by big celebrities like Rihanna and Lindsay Lohan.

Holland, who is only 27, held his first solo show at London Fashion Week in 2008. A few months later, he won an award for the "Best Use of Tartan" at the Scottish Fashion Awards, beating out names like Dolce and Gabbana and Ralph Lauren. Holland has staked his claim to the quirky, cool niche of the British fashion scene. He has returned to his favorite Scottish theme this year, which could mean yet another award for his label. This season, his designs feature authentic tweed developed at his company's factory in Harris. The use of heritage fabrics is one of things that makes his line unique.
