That's what a friend just called me. I was looking at Longines watches recently, and then, apparently spaced out as I mulled over the beautiful selection in my mind. My friend had to call me back to earth! It's just that I really love good design, for jewelry, clothes, the home, garden, etc. I truly appreciate it. To me, it's an artistic expression and I enjoy contemplating good design when I see it. In fact, when some of my friends can't decide on something they're buying that has elements of design, I'm their go-to person. They know I'll be able to make comments that will help them decide which is best for them and for the rest of what they have…whether in their home, jewelry box, or closet. I've always enjoyed design…starting from when I played with dolls! I guess I used to day dream about it then, too. For my career, I wound up going into another field, so I don't use my interest for work, but it does add to my quality of life. I think that-without being a slave to it-enjoying a good sense of fashion and design enhances life because through this aesthetic sense, we create a daily world for ourselves that is uplifting and comforting.
